The event commenced with an inspiring session led by Prof. Dr. Aryono Hendarto, Sp.A(K), MPH, who introduced participants to the concept of Building Learning Commitment (BLC) and the importance of promoting Anti-Corruption in healthcare settings. This was followed by a pre-test conducted via the Plataran Sehat platform to gauge participants’ existing knowledge and prepare them for the training ahead.

The first day’s sessions were designed to provide a strong foundation in essential skills. Participants began with Health Communication/Education, exploring strategies to convey health messages to diverse audiences effectively. This was followed by sessions on Psychological Dynamics and Early Support for Patient Readiness and Basic Counseling Skills, which delved into the psychological aspects of patient care and fundamental counseling techniques.

Main Trainer: Adhityawarman Menaldi who delivered material on basic counseling knowledge.

Expert trainers facilitated these sessions, fostering dynamic discussions and encouraging participants to share real-world experiences. Both online and offline participants were actively engaged, creating a collaborative learning environment.

After a brief break, the workshop transitioned into advanced topics, including Advanced Counseling Skills, Motivational Skills, and Skills in Group Education. These sessions were highly interactive, allowing participants to practice real-life scenarios under the guidance of trainers. The hands-on approach enabled participants to gain practical insights and refine their counseling techniques.

At the close of the first day, participants in the Training of Trainers (TOT) program were given an assignment: to select one of six topics for a microteaching session on the second day. This exercise was designed to encourage participants to apply what they had learned and showcase their understanding. A post-test on the Plataran Sehat platform rounded off the day, providing immediate feedback on their progress.

Day two focused on practical application through microteaching sessions. To accommodate the hybrid nature of the event, these sessions were conducted in parallel: in-person at the workshop venue and online via Zoom. A total of 30 participants delivered microteaching presentations, each demonstrating unique approaches and teaching styles tailored to their chosen topics.

Trainers provided constructive feedback immediately after each presentation, using structured evaluation checklists to assess performance. This feedback helped participants identify strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

The workshop not only enhanced participants’ technical skills in communication, psychological support, and counseling but also fostered a deeper understanding of how these tools can drive sustainable health outcomes. By equipping healthcare professionals with the ability to inspire behavioral change in early-life nutrition, this initiative significantly contributes to the prevention of non-communicable diseases in Indonesia.
