Project Description

1. EaTS Indonesia will capitalize on the established e-learning program Early Nutrition e-Academy South East Asia (ENeA SEA) and establish effective and sustainable strategies to train and motivate the full spectrum of HCPs woring in different settings in Indonesia, particulary the community healthcare workers, nurses, and midwives (around 350.000 midwives working in Indonesia) who deliver most of the primary healthcare in rural communitites of Indonesia. We will use a multi-actor approach to combine scientific evidence, entrepreneurial skills, and practical knowledge from key stakeholders.

3. The Program is divided into six interlinked work packages (WP), each lead by a consortium partner

 

 WP 1 – PREPARATION 

In-depth evaluation of current state of healthcare in Indonesia (guidelines, recommendations, current educational offers, unmeet needs   -(tools: literature/internet research, interviews and focus groups).

 

 WP 2 – DEVELOPMENT OF E-LEARNING

Review of existing ENeA SEA content, creation of new INA-specific modules if needed and technical implementation of ENeA e-learning modules on to the ENeA SEA platform. Translation of modules into Bahasa Indonesia.

 

 WP 3 – DEVELOPMENT OF TRAINING COURSES

Conceptualization and implementation of face to face training courses for three different groups in 2 pilot regions. Development of   course materials, planning and implementation.

 

 WP 4 – EVALUATION

Development and implementation of evaluation (incl. descriptive module evaluation, user analysis, participant feedback, individual   interviews) and data analysis and consolidation for publication.

 

 WP 5 – DISSEMINATION

Development and implementation of dissemination, exploitation and sustainability activities.

 

 WP 6 – PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Enacting effective management and coordination of all related aspects such as administration, finance controlling, reporting and   development of sustainability plan.
